This puddle pad (23-27 micron) uses certified organic wool that is felted using simply water. No chemical treatments or plasticizers used on these or any of our pads! We test the puddle pad to 1 part per million for various metals, to view these test results check out our Organic Certificaitons and Testing Section. There you can also see the certifications for our wool and other materials.
Wool is naturally dustmite, bacteria, and mildew resistant. Our certified organic wool pad can be used by itself or for added wetness protection, in conjunction with our deluxe organic cotton quilted mattress pad. Not as soft or thin as our untreated, and is slightly thicker as it uses a higher micron fiber.
